Microwave Ovens – Make Your Own Genetically Modified Food

You probably have a fantastic device for creating your own genetically modified food right in your very own kitchen. You probably call it a microwave oven. We call it a lighted storage cabinet.

Microwave ovens generate microwave radiation within the cabinet to rapidly heat food. What the microwaves do is get the water molecules in the food really excited, which creates heat. It turns out that when one water molecule gets hyper-excited by a microwave, it slams into the molecules around it causing damage.

Picture it this way. It is rush hour on a 6-lane interstate highway. For me, that’s the north side of the I-285 perimeter around Atlanta. One car gets zapped and starts going crazy, crashing into the cars on either side of it. Those cars then crash into the cars around them, and so on in a continuing chain reaction.

After the energy has been spent, do you think many of the cars look the same as they did before? Do you think many of them are even functional? Same thing for the molecules in your food after being zapped with microwave radiation. When they get into your body, your cells don’t recognize any of it as food anymore and it doesn’t work as nutrition. Sometimes they are carcinogens, that is, they can contribute to causing cancer.

Fortunately our microwave oven is one of those that gets mounted over the stove, so it does have some valuable uses. Like I said, it works great as a lighted cabinet. It makes a good clock for the kitchen. It also has a light on the bottom that provides enough light to make a midnight snack without waking up the rest of the house.

  1. The only thing that sucks about this is, I was hoping the microwave could help reverse some of the GMO’s in conventional food.
    Why are people not aware of what Monsanto is doing to our food supply and to our farmers??
    How can we get them to label our food??

    • Hi Assunta. I think people are becoming more and more aware of what the big agri-businesses are doing to our food supply. I have heard of a few cases where people are taking on Monsanto and winning. There was one in Canada I heard about a couple of months ago. It took him 10 years and he lost everything in the process, but he won the case. I also heard recently that India is fighting them. Probably the best thing you can do is get involved in an organization that supports protecting our food supply. One possibility is the Cornucopia Institute at http://www.cornucopia.org/

  2. My wife is studying with the Global College of Natural Medicine and the basis for saying that microwave ovens comes from one of her text books. They site several different sources.

    In 1991 Dr. Hans Ulrich Hertel published a paper in Switzerland showing that microwave cooking changed the nutrients in food and caused changes in the the blood that could cause the deterioration in humans. An influential trade group in Switzerland had Dr. Hertel convicted of “interfering with commerce” and had his research suppressed.

    The Nazis originally developed the microwave oven. After the war, both the US and the Russians got a hold of some of them. The Russians did tests and banned their use in the Soviet Union.

    The text says that the Russian research is also referenced in Robert Becker's book, The Body Electric, on page 314. That's probably the best place to get the info.
